ABOUT US

Cave Jewels was born from a passion for creating meaningful, timeless jewellery that transcends passing trends. Each piece is crafted as a personal talisman - designed to be a lifelong companion - reflecting the unique stories and emotions of the wearer. Just like art or tattoos, our creations become symbols of personal expression and deep connection.

Handcrafted by skilled Italian artisans, our jewellery is made from 9 and 18 karat gold, with every detail reflecting meticulous craftsmanship and a commitment to quality. Our certified workshop embraces sustainability, championing local heritage and minimising waste. We prioritise the ethical sourcing and reuse of materials, ensuring responsible practices that respect people and the environment, a standard upheld by our designer, who personally selects every conflict-free diamond.

Founded by Chiara Avezzù, the brand embodies her expertise built over more than a decade in the high jewellery industry, a career enriched by her defining experience rebranding a prestigious Milanese company. In 2021, Chiara introduced her first High Jewellery collection, alongside a bespoke service dedicated to clients seeking one-of-a-kind pieces.

Chiara’s creative journey is rooted in her family’s artistic legacy. She was immersed from childhood in the distinguished Antiquarian House run jointly by her mother, an antiquarian and painter, and her grandmother, who expertly curated antique jewellery alongside designing unique pieces. Her passion for creation was ignited during her studies at Bocconi University, where she began experimenting with silver and semi-precious stones and the reimagining of family heirlooms.

A pivotal move to London in 2010 led her to gain managerial experience with high-profile brands, including those within the Kering Group. She then successfully transitioned her expertise to the high jewellery sector, an exposure that further enriched her vision and defined her path to jewellery design.

“As a young girl, I'd watch my mother sift through her jewellery each day, deciding on the perfect piece. To me, jewellery is an intrinsic part of a woman's being, an adornment to be worn daily, just like any attire.”
